CiteScores of cardiology and cardiovascular journals indexed in Scopus in 2019: A bibliometric analysis

Background: Citations are considered a measure of the scientific impact research articles. CiteScore is standard metric, based on Scopus database, number times articles in given journal were cited during period relative to published by that period. Objectives: To investigate factors associated with CiteScores journals cardiology and cardiovascular diseases indexed 2019. Methods: This cross-sectional, descriptive-analytical study examined 338 analyse correlation between such other variables parameters as coverage indexing services (databases), type access, language, articles, age (year establishment), H-Index, Scimago Journal Rank, quartile journal. Results: was positively correlated following or parameters: PubMed, Web  Science, EMBASE ( p < 0.001), articles    English = publishing review =  0.23), H-Index Rank 0.001). Conclusion: Coverage international databases, especially Web EMBASE, critical increasing its visibility. Publishing which tend be more often because they serve comprehensive sources information, can increase Also, contributes cited.
